About Print

Canon has partnered with Mason to provide solutions for all your printing needs. Self-printing can be accomplished through the Pay-for-Print (PFP) network across all three campuses. The PFP network is accessible from Mason operated computers or your device.

You can print to ANY of the PFP devices on ANY campus. You will only see your print jobs in your queue. Most PFP devices can print in color. However, device defaults have been set to Black & White print and Duplex/2-Sided to reduce cost and promote sustainability. When you release your job, these defaults can be changed via your print dialog box. Printing for Mason Students and guests costs $0.10 for Black & White and $0.25 for color.

The PFP devices accept Mason Money, which can be deposited on your Mason ID. If you need custom printing, we have that covered as well. Please visit our Print Hub for more information.

Don’t forget to download your drivers for your personal computers. You must be on eduroam Wi-Fi to download your driver and print it to a device.

Note: You MUST use your NetID (ex: JSmith9) and be signed into the eduroam network. The Pharos pop-up will come up every time you submit a job.

  • To determine which driver to load: on your PC, open the Windows Start menu(bottom left of your screen), right click on "Computer" and click "Properties." Under "System" look for "System Type:" which will display whether you need 64-bit or 32-bit. Load the appropriate driver.
  • When submitting your print job, be sure to use the correct driver: "bw" for black and white or "clr/color" for color.
