Account Setup

The Purchasing Department at Mason requests that all departments/units currently utilizing express mail services set up their accounts. By setting up these accounts, departments will have cleaner billing, more responsive customer service, and lower prices. Please see below to aid in setting up these accounts.

 

 

Contract: NASPO MA454*
*Any accounts under the expired E&I contract will automatically transition to NASPO contract pricing effective 10/1/2018. No further action is required if you previously had an E&I FedEx Account. The 9-digit account number will remain the same.

 

Payment: P-Card or Direct Bill

 

Account Setup:

  1. Complete the green and orange sections of the New Account Setup Form.
  2. Email the form to govtsupport@fedex.com to request an account.
  3. A FedEx representative will set up the account and email the corresponding account number to the contact listed on the form. Please make sure to request a NASPO Valuepoint Contract and to be added under GMU.

Account Setup:

  1. To establish a new UPS account, please email Sales Representative Chantelle Perrigoue (chantelleperrigoue@ups.com) the information below
    • Company/Department Name
    • Address for pickup
    • Contact person's name, phone, and email
    • Type of pickup needed (On call or daily)
    • Billing addresses if different
    • Contract (Sourcewell Pricing for Mason)
  2. The new account setup will take a minimum of two weeks
  3. Once the account is established, the requestor will receive information on setting up the CampusShip portal to manage shipping details.

Please Note: The price comparison between UPS and FedEx shows that FedEx pricing for Priority Overnight, Standard Air, Express Saver, and Ground is lower than UPS's equivalents: Next Day Air, Next Day Air Saver, 3 Day Select, and Ground.
